Treatment of hemmroid pain and related conditions have often got less medical attention and research funds compared to more important diseases. Finding working remedies for hemmoroids has for this reason not had the same progress as many other diseases and cures. This certailnly has to do with the level or prestige, or rather non-prestige of hammerhoids treatment. Today we have rather few modern and well established haemmoroids medicines especially if the number is compared to the larger amount of available home treatments for hemroids and remedies for haemmorroid pain and other symptoms of hemorhoids and herbal and other alternative hemmroid treatment options for relief from haemorrhoids symptoms.

Haemmoroids - what causes hemorroids?

Among the commonly seen reasons of hemmroids signs or haemmroid symptoms we can mention:

Haemorrhoids - hemmroids, hemmoroids or hemmorroids

The totally grammatically correct way of spelling is - hemorrhoids. As the word is rather complicated though and as there sometimes are other spellings seen, among which haemmoroids, hemorroids, but also hemmoroids, hemmroids are the more usual. Other less frequent spellings seen are hemmeroids, hemmroids or hemorhoids. Hemoroids or maybe even hemmorrhoids are very infrequent, but it is not of utter importance what the spelling used is, but rather of more importance is to achieve a clinically established diagnose, to find the best hemmoroid treatment, hemrod remedies and best hemmroid pain relief.

Pictures of hammerhoids (hemoroids)

The pictures of hemorrhoids and hemmoroids images we publish here are rather disturbing so we have chosen to limit this to a few illustrative pics only but also to try and describe the looks of the problem in words, i.e. what do hemmoroids look like - what hemmroids look like. Hemerhoids can be considered to be blown up blood vessels (blood veins), found inside of the anal opening, or found on the outside of it in case the hemroids have extended out (protruded) which also often meens they are bleeding hemmorhoids. Hemmeroids that have found their way outside of the anus can be the reason for a lot of pain during bowel movements and it may be necessary to go through hemrod surgery to rectify the problem. With protruded (external) bleeding haemorrhoids, there is a larger risk of acquiring inflammations and attracting pain in the skin around the veins area.

Hemmroid symptoms and signs of hemorhoids

Symptoms of haemmoroid signs will often disappear within a few days or maybe in up to one week. Although hemorrhoids is a fairly common disease, not all patients with hemmeroids will notice any symptoms at all.

Common symptoms and signs hemroids:

Treating hemmoroids (curing piles)

Finding what causes your hemmoroids is important. If you only treat the outer hemmroids symptoms there is always a level of risk that the hemrods will return again within not too long. Home remedies come in many fashions and many good such are available for hemmeroid pain relief and removal of itching from hemroids. Most of the available home remedies for haemmorroids set out to achieve both relief from itching and relief from burning at the same time as they aim to shrink the hemroids.

Your food, the diet you follow, also plays an important part in determining whether you are at risk or not for developing haemmoroids. It is generally accepted to be good advice, using a diet rich in fiber, but it is even better when there are haemmoroids present. High in fiber diet sources are derived from whole grains, vegetables and fruit. By drinking lots of water and other liquids (not alcohol), your stool will become softer which is important in keeping hemroids at bay.

Clense the entire rectal area with lots of hot water after each time of bowel emptying, and also consider using a bulk fiber laxative substance for help with stool softening. This helps with lowering the time of straining necessary to perform full bowel movements.

The use of a soft cushion when sitting is a good idea as it relieves pressure, particularly so if you have a job that keeps you sitting all day. This method will of course only provide temporary relief but it is still recommended as it will improve on the conditions for healing. For prevention of hemorhoids, use bulky fiber supplements, psyllium husk is one, which will help preventing recurrences of hemmroids. Using a good stool softener or a preparate for laxative purposes can also be beneficial in healing without unnecessary amount of straining.

The herb Horse Chestnut has always been used as a home remedy for traditional relief of hemroids. The nut from horse chestnut has an anesthetic and also anti-inflammatory properties which are good for providing hemmoroid relief.

These are some other, but not that many well known methods for hemoroid relief, and if you keep with these methods you should be able to notice the pain and the extra swelling from your hemmorrhoids decreasing in a week or less, and the hard clot should disappear within a month or max two. If you notice no major relief when using these techniques, then hemmorhoids surgery by a medical doctor may be necessary.

External hemmerods - bleeding painful hemmrods

Hemrods are magnified veins located in either the anal area or the lower rectum. Hemmeroids is a condition that many people suffer from for a short period without even being aware about it since it usually goes away again without a trace after only a few days. Bleeding internal hemorrhoids are more common than bleeding external haemmoroids (hemorhoids) as the external hemeroids seldom bleed. When there is bleeding externally, this is more likely to come from other sources such as fissures, rather than from hammerhoids. Because hemmoroids origin being swollen veins, there is always a risk that passing of hard stool might cause damage to them and too high levels of straining during a bowel movement might cause start of bleeding. Blood coming from a bleeding haemroid is often very brightly red. However it is important to recognize that rectal bleeding is not always a sign of hemmroids symptoms, it can also be more sinister such as a symptom of  cancer etc - for this reason alone, it is recommended that you should always take anal bleeding very seriously and consult a physician.
